My recycled plastic jewellery features in new exhibition!
Hello and welcome to my first blog post of 2019! I haven’t written much for a while, I do apologise, but I just couldn’t wait to tell you about this fantastic exhibition at my local museum in Helston – The Museum of Cornish Life– of which I’m very lucky to have some of my jewellery exhibited! My Fishing Buoy found object jewellery range (my Mum wants me to call it Buoy oh Buoy!!) is created from plastic that I have collected off a beach on the Lizard down here in Cornwall! I haven’t altered the plastic pieces in any way except for drilling a few holes! Each piece is unique being worn into shapes by the power of the sea and I usually determine what to make from each piece by its size or shape!
Entry to the museum is free (donations are appreciated) and they are open Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm! If you are visiting Cornwall this month or you live down here please come and visit!

Thanks! I shall add some photos of the exhibition when I visit the museum soon, so at least people who can’t make it will be able to see it!
